Hi there
I am swapping my CT for a CU, just got new gearbox but what is the best thing to do regarding the clutch cable as this one is hydraulic?
Any help appreciated!
ps, I still have the CT gearbox too which is in perfect working order...
Cheers

Hello,
Why not keep the CT box,fit larger tyres if you like,
It will save you some serious messing about..
You are going up from 50 bhp to 70 bhp..
With a drop in mpg to match..
You will not improve on top speed...but much better on hills in third.
Max book speed for a CT is 103kph...I get up to 115 before I run out of revs..
I would not push your CU past 4200 RPM.

This was on the same set up CU into CT
You will need a new throttle cable..
Hope this helps.
Cordialement,

Just remove the hydraulic bracket and arm and fit the clutch cable bracket and arm to the new gearbox.

Thanks for your help folks,
Just read these but already managed to get the lever arms off and swap them over, last thing was to put the spring back around the lever arm and it snapped in half
Gonna check online now for a replacement, fingers crossed!
cheers
