Hi folks.

Anyone know of any mechanics for servicing/repairs in Derby and surrounding area? I know a fella near Lougborough (burton on wold) but the trip is really time consuming so looking for something more local if you might be able to help?

1985 1.9 Watercooled.

Ta, Liam

Chris did an engine swap/rebuild on one of my old Caravelles and was very good. Tell him Paul said hello :)

Yeah I called them - they don't really work on T25s. Too busy on Bays/Splitties, which is fair enough. I'm hoping this fella is the business - sounded great. MOT booked next week + some work on the clutch/gearbox.

Chris and his team (pushes out to specialists for electrics carbs etc) have done a great job so far.

New carb + pump, minor service, replacement wiring (was getting drain on both batteries due to terrible set up I had from previous), adjusted tappits, MOT (inc. welding/wiper fluid pumps), new starter motor, killswitch + two keys (added security / protection against battery drain), drain gearbox and general tuning of idle speeds.

All just over 1k.

Very happy so far.
