Hi can anybody help I've got an 82 air cooled camper
And was thinking of putting a Ford v6 in it has anybody
Done this ? If so is it much of a job ? I've got the engine mounts
Exhaust conversion plate etc , just wondered what clutch to use
And how high it sticks out the original bonnet .
Many thanks

I presume the ford engine is watercooled?
If so, you will need to fit all new plumbing and radiator.

IMO a much nicer w/c engine for an a/c bus is a Subaru EJ of some sort. Several outfits sell conversion parts and services. There's quite a big community of folk who've gone this route.

IMO as we'll not worth the time money or effort. :?
There's so many much better choices.
