Exhaust bolts

Can anyone please tell me what size and length bolt I need to bolt my exhaust to the manifold. I think they are M8 but have no idea what length and I have found two missing.
Also can I just use steel bolts or do I need something specialist?
Can I use Loctite to stop them falling out again?
Thanks

You must have missed this when you tried the wiki
https://club8090.co.uk/wiki/Pe ... stud_depth" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
so you'll need a 20 mm length

People usually have trouble getting them out - not them dropping out of their own accord!

Ah! thanks Kev. I did search the wiki first honest gov! but did not see that page.
What is odd is that I didn't have studs in there in the first place it was always bolts. Is that right? (it is after all an Elite engine!)
So would steel bolts with a washer do?

Bolts are better in my opinion, it means you don't need to split the system to get it off in the future, you can drop it as a complete unit. If you want to go specialist get tungsten bolts £££, or stainless, a coating of duralac or similar will hopefully prevent bimetalic corrosion. It's tight with the bends in the exhaust in the way but doable, I seemed to managed it.
