Gas fridge.

Can someone tell me, if I run my fridge off the gas does it work well and is it safe to run for a few days. Off to a festival in August and need to keep beer oh and food cold.

Mine works very well, and can even start to freeze the beers if I have the thermostat too low.
But you can see on this site that some people have problems with their gas fridges.

I hook mine up to the mains the night before then to the battery while driving and then on gas when i get there, i works fine i even keep ice creams in the freezer compartment. I think the longest iv had it on is a week and it is vented, hope this helps you

The van will need to be perfectly level to work efficiently on gas.

Not so critical on a fridge with the round heat exchanger cladding - if you have the old square one then it is critical. Another urban myth!
I just fire mine up on gas the day before and leave it until I reach the destination or fuel station.
