Awning fitting advice

Hey folks

Bit of advice needed please. We used our khyam awning for the first time last month but didnt realise we needed to buy fittings for it...(stupid i know).

Just wanted to ask which is the best option, i have seen a few different ones like the figure of 8 or the clamps. Drilling is no option.
I am not sure if the gutter will hold the figure of 8 either.

Any advice useful ie where to get them too?

Cheers

Tom

Pole and clamps are the best option IMO.Any khyam dealer should be able to sort you.

Pole and clamp was no good for our awning attachment 'cos the hi-top sits in the gutter.
We needed figure 8 arrangement.
Check out World Of Camping and othercamping suppliers as they give good advice on various fittings

The fig of eight is ok if you intend staying put when camping. But a pain if you want to go out in the van

I agree with Rob pole and clamp you can roll the awning to take up the slack when parking so you don't need to park exact.

How have ppl got on with properly fitting the awning when you have a wind out awning cassette and mounts in place?
