if your getting that welded for £60 will you take loads of picks and post up,
you really need to ensure that the finished steel is the same profile and shape etc as per original , this face is the one the seal fits to, and you shopuldnt need any filler,
as above ,when removing i run a stanley blade down the OUTSIDE of the screen flush with the glass and once you have a foot cut it will generally tear off all the way round.
i usually start at the top and work round each way till i have a foot or so in the middle bottom left, then you can ease the glass away from the seal each side and it wont fall down and out
also when refitting , form a loop in the cord in the middle of each side, we then fit by doing each vertical in turn, but each to your/their own

See my link of bodywork I've been doing recently, which shows what they go like! And shows how we repaired it! It's titled 'bodywork and re painting, ongoing updates'

I bought the repair panels from a schofields online for around £40 so that it was easier to get the correct profile!

They are not Vewib, but they are, kinda.
They come from the same manufacturer Vewib uses, just not branded as Vewib.
Same part, different sticker .;-)

hmm, how does that work ?? is it your die or the same one that the vewib group use  matters not to me but a relative who deals footwear by the million had 6 figures of a popular brand trainer made, same far east factory made the soleplates and same one made the uppers etc. got round it by employing a team of ladies to scuff the logo on a buffer to avoid certain legalities :rofl

Vewib are a brand not a manufacturer.

Vewib buy parts in and label them as their own just as everyone else does.
