Hi,

Is there anyway of telling if this is a leisure or starter battery?

It was in our van as a leisure but not sure

From a couple of links that I have followed and read for that part number, it appears to be an original volkswagen group battery part number for a car battery..not specifically a 'leisure' battery.. but then very few are truly 'Deep Cycle' even when they have 'Leisure battery' printed on them.

I wouldn't worry...it will perform just fine, just don't run it completely flat and as with all batteries, keep it fully charged even when not in use.

The German's never seem to fit leisure batteries in their conversions
