Polo 1999 diesel engine A.E.F is it suitable

I have seen a low mileage 1999 polo diesel engine code A.E.F It has a mechanical fuel pump .Advice wanted is this a suitable engine to convert with 1.6n parts for the T25.Thanks.

It is poss to I fit this engine I have it in mine,Cunning plan on brickyard has one in his,there is a few things you need to do.
The cover on the pump needs removing to get access to the cut of solonoid.
The polo dip stick hole needs blocking up.
A new dip stick needs sorting(two ways of doing this).

Ive just carried out this conversion too, with Marks helpfull advice.
It can be done.
I encounterd a few problems along the way but there sorted out now, i hope.
John
