Con-fused by the Instruction Manual

Hi all, here's a little question I'm struggling with...

I'm looking at the fusebox in my 1989 DG and checking it against the manual - I have a 5a horizontal fuse below the other fuses, in what looks like a std factory fitted part of the fusebox.

The manual only references the 'regular' 1-22 slots, some "under right rear seat" ones, and some "above fusebox" ones (which I can see on my own fusebox as Rear Fog & Dash Lights).

So no mention of any "below fusebox" mystery 5a horizontal one...

Have we all got one or am I a bit special?

Are you looking at the 'spares' slots?

Oh Lord that would be so funny, and certainly sounds like something I would do...

Hard to say really, I'm at work, the van's at home, and the manual has no picture or decription relating to spare fuses.

I bet you are spot on, and I'm an eejit  Cheers OBG

...so the only spare fuse is 5a and there isn't a 5a fuse anywhere else on the board. How handy.

I bet someone found it and popped it in the empty slot, because it "looked like it belonged there" :D
