cardboard wind baffles

Hi there,
Just wondering where I could get measurements for the cardboard type wind deflectors / baffles that go around the front radiator. (Designed to cut down wind noise in the cab i think)
Mine are falling apart (late T3 westy) and I think this is a major cause of the noise in the cab, would like to make up some strong new ones but would be nice to have a template to work from

I don't see them listed in the bentley. Are they in etka I wonder? Used to have a copy of etka on my laptop but not any more.

If anyone could post some some pictures of how the originals are shaped or ideally with them in situ around the rad would be a great help,

Cheers,
Barry

Is that what they are for, I always thought they were to direct air into the rad, but I could easily be wrong !

Our van has not had any fitted since we replaced the rad about 4 years ago.

well i think they do that too (redirect air to rad) but also help cut down cab noise AFAIK

I thought the whistle strips on the A pillar were for stopping noise in the cab.

so.... you guys reckon they have no effect on the cab noise / resonance?
few posts ive read seem to say otherwise, maybe some other OCD road noise types can chip in with some more opinions?

Either way id love to see some pics of a complete set in place, or laid out to see the original shapes..

I think Brickwerks sell copies of them?

They are listed on the Brickwerks site but are out of stock. The description on there for the lower one is:
"Cardboard duct fitted below the radiator to assist airflow through the cooling system. Often in tatters, or missing completely".

aha, yep found em on the site. Duct was the keyword i was missing

Part numbers from brickwerks throw up more sources of them on google

251 121 283 B is lower one
251 121 282 A is side one

doesn't look like theres one on the other side

should be able to make up some based on the images until next time I'm ordering from brickwerks.

Thanks lads
