Kill Switch

Hi,

Just say I wanted to install a kill switch on a DG engine - what wire would be best to break?

As it has a mechanical fuel pump that is a non starter but what about a negative on the coil or to the ignition unit/black box thing?

I am sick of ripping out the back to take the rotor arm out every night. A tracker is on order but I want to stop it going in the first place and where I live there is no chance of getting a flat bed to it or even it being pushed so I figure stopping it starting is the best bet.

I'd be looking at the stop solenoid on the carb, or the ignition feed to the coil.

Coil negative has recently been discussed and is not reccomended, as said pos to coil or amplifier or both is good, just be creative where you put it
