Clutch squeal

Evening all
I've had an issue with my clutch I think, sometimes when I put my foot on the clutch I get a kind of vibrating squeal, it's can be very loud. Sometimes it's as smooth as a it should be. When it happens it's very hard to get a gear be it reverse, first or second.
My first thoughts were thrust bearing, so I've bit the bullet and changed the whole clutch. But it's now still the same or worse.
I changed the gearbox oil at the time, there was some rubbish on the plug, I'd say the oils never been changed before.
Please help I'm at a loss now

did you change the spigot bearing whilst doing the clutch ?
worse hot or cold ?
was there any sign of gear oil leak into the bellhousing ?

No I didn't change that, it happens hot or cold, maybe a tiny but worse when hot.
No signs of oil leaking

Spigot bearing likely. Not the easiest thing to get out though.

Well it was the spigot bearing, only problem in there is little left of it and what's left is stuck tight. Any ideas how to remove. I'm dreading the crank being knackered. If it is what would you recommend I do?
Really fed up now, I'm not sure what to do at all.

I've often wondered how well this would work on a T25. I suppose its basically a hydraulic approach with nowhere for the bearing to go but out. Some do it with wet paper or even bread.

This may be impossible with yours now but I don't see why it couldn't work in most instances.

I'll give it a go tomorrow, but like I said there is just a small amount of bearing left is say just the outer shell ,the inner race and roller pins are all gone.

If the bearing shell would come out, it would be pretty simple and straight forward, my problem is it won't move. Think I'm going to have to try and grind it out but that would risk knackering the crank, if I do then I'm not sure what my options are, new engine or new crank god only knows

I wouldn't attempt the grease method if much of it is missing. I think the only thing you can do is weaken part of whats left and hope you can fold it in on itself.

No joy folding its self in, think the grinding wheel is my last option. I know this is going to be expensive

Indeed a small air powered Dremel type one.
