Ive painted my front and sliding door handles before with a satin/matt spray but its flaking off and j assume as they are moulded alloy there must be a need for special primer- ang suggestions for rattle can products to prime n top coat? Thanks.

I did mine with an etch primer after the handles were rubbed down and degreased and then some satin matt black on top. I used proper car paints so dont know if you can buy this stuff in an aerosol but might be worth a look in Halfords?

Ive got some upol acid etch primer in a rattle can left over from welding jobs .....thanks.
