hello fellow camper - roll on the spring when i can get the family out again...anyway onto the question...
anyone know where i can get a hi top cover (seen the ones in just kamper but they won't fit over my roof) Also are they any good at keeping the rain out but letting moisture thru?
cheers for any help

ps rather not pay a fortune!

Firstly welcome to the 80-90 forum ....so what stops you using the camper in the autumn, winter?

and... do you have space for a carport?

thanks for the welcome - seems like a good forum with a good bunch of contributers.

I'll use the van in the winter and spring, but my wife and 12 month old aren't that keen! (can't understand it myself!)

Carport is out I'm afraid. I live in a new house (no campervans or caravans - I am a rebel at heart but car port might be a rebellion too far!)

Father in law has been quoted £200 plus for a cover

Shame really, I can supply the frames for around £25

that would ahve worked well and been very cost effective. the aspect of my house doesn't lend itself to a carport (town house style)

I've seen covers that have been adapted from caravan covers. try a caravan dealer for them...
the other alternative is to make your own from lightweight groundsheets.

finaly my only other thought is to wash and wax it every week and leave a heater in it!
