40 amp strip link fuse

hi i have just noticed my 40 amp strip link fuse has blown for my relay system.where could i get some of these today,cheers dave :ok

Don't know about 40, but you could try a 50. Mine has a 50

Ebay isn't today though - even on quick delivery. You could try a motor accessories place but if you're struggling any place that services bigger vans or trucks will have them.

Solder the blown strip fuse very carefully across the break. This will still give the circuit protection whilst you wait for a replacement to arrive. Just brighten the crack edges with a Stanley blade so the solder has a key. There is still plenty of the strip untouched to give the correct fuse rating!

I did this on my daughters Polo when her 60amp? ABS strip developed a crack (quite common apparently...failing through age rather than fault)
