Hi all,

I've just joined the forum having last weekend picked up my first van---a 1983 auto 1.9DG with a Devon style pop roof.

The exterior is in pretty good condition and my uncle is a mechanic so the engine should be well looked after. However, the interior is very tatty and I would like to completely refit it. I just wondered if anyone that's done this could give me a bit of advice as to the different ways to go--ie, doing it myself or paying a professional to do it for me and a rough idea of what the different routes might cost..

Any recommendations gratefully received!

Many have rebuilt the interior of their vans. Have alook through the wiki at the top of the page, its always the first port of call.welcome by the way.

Also someone like Morland do replacement doors depending on the type of cupboard you have and I talked to them and they could do custom sizes too.
