Hello all,

Looking forward to bringing my bus out for the summer months from its slumber and looking for a few jobs to tidy up and improve my bus. Found these on the internet and look like a good product to stop the spray and crud from getting to the paintwork. Has anybody ordered/fitted these before and are they any good?

It always seemed a bit odd that these were left to the elements and this looks like it would solve an issue

Any thoughts would be good

It's one of the Modifications on my ever growing to do/wish list...

I had a set from winkler the fit was terrible and held dirt behind liner so I got rid of them

Whs,I think it would be good if we had a bit more feedback on these amongst other items,I have long suspected that they are crap traps ?

Better to keep existing arches in good condition and jet wash them out when they're mucky. Too easy to miss corrosion/damage with them covered up.

that's what I have done covkid thoroughly stripped the arches of any paint and sealant sandblasted the seam then re sealed them and them painted them bodycolour then i greased all behind the expansion petrol tanks so its easy to refit and to protect them and once a year I just remove them to wash the road grit and dirt away and re grease still looks as good 5 years later and it looks a lot better than the ill fitting plastic arches I had before

They are fine when they are fitted properly.

interesting feedback thanks guys,

its more the rears that i think need the covers as they can throw crud into the engine bay as they are very open. the fronts are quite enclosed i removed my breather tanks when i first renewed my fuel tank and they are nice and clear under there.

might put this into the maybe section of things i'm going to do to the bus......
