Hello all, just a message to say thanks to all on here.
My van is finally on the road! Whoop!
It was a long wait with one and thing and another and finances but all good now, did a 1000km round trip last week with no probs, engine has been completely rebuilt and runs like a dream now.
Nearly gave up on it but glad i never, so to anyone with a van thats sat(mine was sat for nearly two years)don't give up, it'll be worth it.
Thanks again, this forum has been source of info.

Well chuffed indeed, thanks for all the advice OBG.
Just the odd little job to sort out here and there but she's running well, defiantly looking forward to some camping trips now.

I think you need defiance if you own one of these!
Not took it much past 100(kms per hour of course!) was upto 110ish, I reckon it would go to 120 but 100 to 110 seems like it's comfy speed.
Drove about 300kms in a high wind, eeek! A bit scary.
Thanks for the advice and fone conversations, it's very much appreciated.
What kind of top speeds are you all getting?

Yeah mine/ours does about 115kph [sat nav] I know what you mean about high winds!! we have a lot of long hills and the combination of wind +hills means third gear for quite long periods!.
Lots of bees [two small ish types] and quite a lot of those big black buzzy things, and various wasps..
Summers coming!

Will be hitting the road in about 4 weeks for a big wander in the van, the bees are out the hives and straight back in again here!
