Just discovered that my pilot light igniter has packed up. Grrr. I'm off tomorrow for a weekend in the Peaks. Is there a quick fix to get the pilot light lit/to stay on (the gas works okay). How much is a new igniter?
Cheers

the little window(bottom left)in my fridge pulls out.i recon i could light the fridge using one of those long gas filled igniters...as for a new ignighter price i cant help there.put an ad in the wanted forum.someone may have a broken fridge.and could let you have the igniter off it...

and if you have to remove the fridge anyway clean the burner, and the flue.
then check the spark afore you buy a new/second hand unit.

Check that there is not a carbon build up between the gap that the spark is supposed to jump accross!!!!
I had stripped down all the three way valve thingy at the front and not got it sorted before taking it out and finding a chunk of crusty carbon on mine

Sorry I didn't have time to reply before leaving for the weekend - which was when I discovered that the leisure battery was the problem!
