Here's one for you, alternator and water pump belts,
I can't keep alternator belts on my cs engine bus
I have renewed the alternator, swapped the brackets and mounts, renewed water pump, checked the alignment, all seems ok there, but is can't keep the alternator belt from snapping ,
Any ideas?

Also what's the std length of the belts as I have tried so many different belts I can't remember

can you take a few pickies showing the pulleys etc, and what size belts are you using on which end

Maybe your setup is for a single belt,mine was before I changed engine, as Mickey says ^^^ pics will help.

Will get some pics, just been delayed by chopping through some tendons in my finger, 4 weeks in pot have now delayed investigation lol

Any one got a pic of a single belt set up?
