Hi
I have just purchased a T25 that has a Danbury autoroof, all the wiring looks to be in order but the motor is missing. Does any one know where I can get a replacement motor or any documentation?
Many Thanks

I have the same roof removed from a danbury but i'm missing one cable. After months of searching i've recently found out that the cables and teleflex drives used are used in marine applications and aviation. I'm going to try a local bopatyard for the cable anyway. The motor says siba50439b 12/24vdc 168 on it. Cant find this anywhere tho. These are very rare apparently, ewhich isn't much good if it means you can't get them to work....

Hi
Thanks for the info at least I have somewhere to start the hunt. I have a good photo of the rear control panel wiring. All the electrical wiring looks to be in order so if you need any more photos let me know.

Did you guys get anywhere with this?
I might be about to buy a Danbury bus and reckon it has roof 'issues'.

In a way he did actually 'cos i'm about to give him a motor when i get round to it. I got the roof of a donor and put it on my tintop, but with the electrics removed. Had it been fitted i'd have seen that my spacing of the sliders attached with 80 rivets each or something was about 20mm out on each side, so when i went to retreofit the gubbins it was more trouble than it's worth. I've new pistons and it lifts fine. I also got some replacement cable but i saw when i fully removed the old one that each side is attached via a contoured metal barrel thing that lets the microswitches operate at full extension. The replacement cable doesn't have this and it looks impossible to fit. There's probably a bodge, but since i'm looking for a lwb T4 i can't be arsed effing about any longer.
Kev- i'll be in touch - nice to meet youse at biggar. rob

I called shotts last week and they said they didn't have any T4's....i'm too busy at work to go shopping really. We're after a LWB now but are trying to source a velle 'cos it'll have better interior and swivels etc making the conversion better. Like hens teeth they are. Have given up for a while - was geting a bit pissed off. Not in the west club yet but might join. Was supposed to meet a chap from the club at a meet in Glasgow this week but i got back from work and fell asleep!
I'll get that motor to you soon--rob
