Morning/evening all
if i put my blower on the window on hot as soon as i start the van theres no problem, BUT if i put it on after the van has been running for a while it steams up, it causes me no problem but was worried it might lead to further problems so thought someone one here might have an idea to the cure.
Thanks

Check your carpets for dampness, could be the heater matrix is leaking causing the condensation.

Well, after the van has been running for a while the air out the blower will be warm straight away, so will condense on the colder screen.
A clean screen won't mist up as much as a grubby one.

would it always be the heater matrix that was the cause or could it be the radiator, and any ideas to tell which it would be, been out this morning and it kept steaming up

Is your van Aircooled?
Our old bay window van always steamed up the inside of the windsceen on cold mornings, when you put the heater on. It was just condensation in the heat exchangers and the pipe under the van.
When the heat eventually dries out the pipes etc. (thanks for watercooling!) the condensation would go.
Hope this helps?
