Just picked up 10 litres (£10.99 for 5) and also picked up a torque wrench for £16.99.
They have a 2 ton trolley jack as well, cheap at £19.99, didn't get one but will mull it over as a supplement.
Happy shopping!

Their semi-synthetic is fine. Not had any issues with it whenever I've used it and it'll mix with any mineral oil. Its a heavy duty oil rather than the El-Ronco brands and great value. For £22 (10litres) thats two complete oil changes - lasts until they have it in again. Other budget option is Wilco at £13.99. Halfords and even Tesco basic oil costs more than that.
I missed out last time and struggled to get any within my budget. The LIDL W5 oil is 15w40.

As Ralph says ^^^^^^^^^ the Lidl W5 is the correct viscosity (15W 40) and semi synthetic is fine, in fact I would say better than plain mineral. Most of the debate around suitable oil is about viscosity and as said, 15W 40 is spot on. One or two people have concerns over synthetic oils loosening dirt around seals but this has normally been in conjunction with THINNER viscosity oils being used and not 15W 40.
I have W5 in mine ATM...no complaints.....just change it regularly (at least every 5,000 miles).

I think the shelf life of motor oil is generally around the 2-year mark if its to retain all of its properties, but a few cans of W5 at these prices will see you though a lot of oil changes. Its an excellent quality oil and lists the specs it meets. Mentions Volvo a lot so perhaps thats its origin. You can almost hear your engine say "aaaaaah" when you pour that in. Its thicker than some cheaper oils I've come across. Can only recommend it.
