1.8T (Syncro) conversion

I've seen these engines fitted in a few vans now - particularly in the US. A few examples are:

They look a great conversion and power seems to be good, especially in a Syncro.

I just wondered if anyone had worked on these and how the electrical mods and engine mountings had been handled. There seem to be a few ways to go about it and as I already have an AGG Golf GTI fitted I would like to know how much more work would be needed. I'm about to swap the 1.8T in my Beetle for a 24v V6 so the engine will be available for the van.

Any clear information welcomed :ok

engine parts such as sai, etc can all be coded out, as can the immo if you dont want to use the clocks .

ones ive seen use petrol engine bars and customs mounts with stock mk4 bushings
should bolt straight to the stock derv bellhousing
i actually think the electrics would be the easier part.
