My handbrake warning light on the dashboard and rear brake lights both suddenly stopped working today, nightmare, anyone got an ideas of a possible solution please?

Two different circuits so are you sure they both stopped working at the same time? Brake light failure is normally down to a faulty hydraulic switch (screwed into the master cylinder)

Yer mate, I found that info on the site but I thought it might be a fuse? I looked at the wiki diagram but me being a thick northerner couldn't work it out. I fitted a new aerial yesterday so thought I might have loosened a connection or fuse?

Are the interior lights and radio still working?
Brake lights are same fuse on early fuse box iirc?

Check the switch in the master cylinder is working
