long wheel bolts/ studs

it'll soon be time for new boots for my t3
to save the aggro of 2, 1/2 sets of locking wheel bolts/ nuts, i found screw in studs for the front on the machine 7 website
good idea, or bad idea
opinions plese

if your a tight Tw@t like me, i used high tensile allthread bar, cut it down to suit, cost £3 if i remember.

And that has no blank collar to tighten against so no way of stopping them unwinding.
Is threaded bar strong enough for wheel fitting?

yes, simon is right about the blank collar, but if you spot weld a dot 15mm in, jobs a good un. not sure about the length but i think i went for 45mm. 60mm in total length(more than enough) even if you fit wheels off a b52!!
