Hi guys, does anyone use a large Disklok on their standard steering wheel?

How good is the fit? I'm worried it might be a bit tight?

Steering wheel seems to be about 43.5cm diameter and Disklok says max size 44cm.

I bought one for my old van and it wouldn't fit at all on the standard steering wheel. Took it back in the end.

Bugger....

It seems to be the best physical method of protecting the van, the stop locks type are easily removed.

So, what do you guys use then?

I have also fitted a clutch claw which locks the pedals together.

I have something similar too. But I want an extra level with something like a Disklok.

I could change the steering wheel, but not having PAS is hard enough for BB already.

I already have something similar, but the consensus is a pair of bolt croppers get rid of these very easily.

I am suprised that Disklok dont make an XL size for small commercials. FWIW the L size has 3 locking positions and wont quite close up to the smallest setting on my T4 PAS wheel.

Having used disklok's before on my gti, corrado, landrover and subaru, I decided that I wanted one on the van.

So rather than buy a 'large' one to modify, I took the cheapo & 'two-a-penny' small one from the floor of my garage and gave it a cut and shut. 62mm strips added in where it was diced into quarters. Now on the std non-power steering wheel.
It might not look pretty but it functions the same and hopefully will be an equally good deterrent!

Visual deterrent is good. Could always pop the rotor arm in your pocket for now, if you don't have a disklok.
