Mate needs to get a sump welded up on a JX - has a tiny fracture in one of the webs at the bottom where bottom end grenade!!

He took it to a TIG welder chap who asked was it alloy or was it alloy/magnesium mix?

Anyone know?

lads at work mended my jx sump....nothing special.
