For some reason the power for my propex comes via the water pump. Can any one tell me in laymans terms how it should be set up?

Thanks

Do you mean that it is in series with your water pump (i.e. the propex is only on when the water pump is on)?
Or is it wired in parallel (i.e. it shares the same power supply/fuse as the water pump)?

Do you have a Zig-style power distribution panel?

The propex should either be wired to the Zig (so that the Zig provides fused protection) or the propex can be wired direct to your leisure battery with its own fused wire.

Yes it only works when the water pump is on. It's not a proper Zig in my autosleeper, it's one of these. Image. I can't understand why it wasn't done propertly first time round. I'll see if there's an alternative. Thanks
