Where is the cheapest place to get a new or secondhand 1985 Carvelle Exaust part or all ?
am on a budget, any help really welcome.

Assuming Petrol 85 could be early system or late - what's yours ?

Early system will fit straight onto later vans and is cheaper.

If yours is late, Brickwerks sell each part separately (in stainless).

If early, you may be able to lose the VW silencer and fit a bike can. See custom exhausts in WIKI. They're cheap once you have the header and from experience they perform and sound better. Not stainless but they're mighty cheap to replace compared with a stock VW exhaust.
