flywheel bolts

morning all, am i right in thinking that the flywheel bolts on a 1.9 DG should be torqued up to 60nm +90deg ?

Thats what haynes says but i prefer bentley at 110Nm a quarter turn is alot of movement after 60Nm

I hope you have new bolts, oring and felt seal :ok

also crazy not to change the crank seal while you are in there for £10 and well worth considering tge spigot bearing for another £5

It's not necessary to use new.
I and others have re-used flywheel bolts

re-using flywheel bolts is fine.

as for replacing spigot bearing, crank seal, felt seal, why not go the whole way and chuck the lot in the bin and buy new? :(

you don`t need to replace everything, and 110 newtons is what I always do. :ok

Yes you can leave the old stuff in, i prefer not to as my time is precious and i dont want to have to do it again

Cheers guys. Used the info from a Bentley and tightened to 110nm. Reused bolts everything else was new as it's a new vega lump.
