Non Westy pop top canvas removal/fitting???

I'm in the process of removing my poptop canvas. As its an after market converted panel van I'm after some ideas of how I should refit the canvas.
At the moment its a very long winded process off removing the carpeted interior top bunk ect. As the canvas has been fitted 1st them everything else fitted afterwards.
How are other canvases fitted( I know westy ones seem quite simple and cleverly fitted) Devon, reimo, leisurdrive etc are they a nightmare too or just mine??
Pictures would be appreciated too.
