Will stick up the other photos from removing the roof tomorrow but couldn't resist sticking this one up for you guys too see!

ooo this is gunna be fun!
I've called it repairing Cheeky V! as im very new to welding, beating and anything else involved with the van body wise and I'm having to undo years of excess filler and sealent! so even though I'd love it to be a restoration, it's going to be more of an on going project for a bit

Judging by the stickers the van has been washed up on a cornish beach...
You must like a challenge

Haha thanks guys! I did expect this as we picked her up from Redruth last summer and she was very crusty then!
time wise i've given myself until the summer to get all of the body work done and into a new coat of paint so I'd best crack on!

Wow that's some rust!
I'm going to be removing my own roof at some point soon and I suspect I might have some rot there too, although not as bad I'm hoping
How are you going to repair it? A donor roof?

well before it came off i was hoping to be able to repair it but having had a chat with mm the only viable way of doing it is going to be a donor cut!
Removed some of the metal top side and the front screen today....
so on a little bit of a hold until i find an appropriate cut, have a couple that will be investigated over the next couple of days

and on the plus side the dash is fine

I know it doesn't include the roof, but is this front body cut any good?!
