I am looking to replace my original steel wheels with a set of alloys. I have seen a nice set that are off a Mk4 Golf. How can I tell if these will fit or not?
They are shown as
5 stud
Rim Diameter 15
Stud diameter 100
Many thanks

Thanks poshbuggers. Seems to be plenty of those around on Ebay. So, as long as I get 5 studs with diameter 112 as you state then they should fit. Seem to be some knocking around for between £200 and £300 in decent condition. Alloy wheel shop quoteed me £600 to £800 new

You need to watch out for the offset (ET) as well. There's good info on
alternative wheels here.

Lots of info following that link.
The main issues are:
PCD (wheel hole spacing) needs to be 5 stud 112 as you have already found out.
However it doesn't stop there..
The wheel bolt/stud size on a T25/T3 is 14mm where as most cars are just 12mm.
The centre boss also needs to be big enough to accommodate the large grease cap on a T3..can't remember what that is but it is bigger than the average wheel.(62.?)
The offset of the wheel also needs to be within a certain range depending on the diameter of the wheel. (31 - 39?)
The load rating needs to be appropriate for a van 650KG or over.
A lot of wheels require spacers and longer studs.
So you can see it isn't as straight forward as you might think!
Mercedes wheels are your best bet....
