I doubt it too but get your engine type and year up and somebody may be able to suggest some local mechanic who's knoledgeable.

That's a big ask-might be more tempting if you were offering a trade. I could always pop round with my Haynes and have a go - would be good to get practice in case mine needs doing in the future!

Because on a waterboxer it's a head seal or cylinder sealing ring or cylinder o ring?
no such thing as a head gaskit or even a head gasket on a flat 4

Im just a bit peaed off cos i put a rekon lump in 7 months ago.

And we still don't know what engine has a gas-kit perhaps its lpg?

Its a 1.6TD JX engine 1985 T25.
Do i do it. Or get rid of it.
Only had it 12 years.
2nd owner. Cant be the last.xx

head gasket on a derv is far easier to change than the water boxer
..man up and do it

Hi, its not as hard as it first looks to remove head on a jx.
