Now I see Schol do repair channel to repair the windsreen but the panel from the grill up to the windscreen is pretty rough. Has anyone changed this panel and how did they get on? Ok with a wlder and spray gun just want some feed back...........damn pricey panel thougyh  Tommy

Its a job I'm putting off too. ChickenKoop and I looked at it and he was of the opinion he could replace it without removing windscreen (ie slot into lower windscreen seal once the old one has been removed).

The big problem as far as we can see is how the heck do you actually attach it to the vehicle as you can't get at it even from inside. Its double skinned there. There are seams either side too. I would imagine there must be welds beneath but again - how do you get to it.

In my case I do have minor leaks but a previous owner also managed to put a sizeable dent in this panel which I've managed to fill (short term) but I have to agree with you, its an expensive panel. Over £80 from what I remember.
