brought a hella fuel cap from gsf this afternoon only to find it didn't fit!
so i took the bracket off the filler neck and had a look and found that the tabs on the cap were way to wide.
so anyway i have ordered one from vw heritage with a new bracket.

anyone else had this problem?

Its not uncommon to get the wrong parts or badly matched parts from gsf or euro car parts
thats why many spend the xtra few £s on Brickwerks or vw h to get the right part

yeahh tell me about it! we use gsf a lot at work and are for ever getting the wrong parts but there prices out weigh it easily.
although i did notice that the part coming from heritage is also a hella part, im interested to see if this ones any diffrent
