It looks good from a distance. However, you want to be seeing pictures of all the usual rust spots, seams, seatbealt mounts, cab steps, front lower panel, around windscreen, lower doors the list could go on..... When I was looking for my van I was told to buy on the condition of the body as if wrong it could cost an awful lot of money to put right. Nice looking van all the same but lack of pictures leaves a lot to the imagination

it sold supposedly last week on ebay for £4500, I guess the buyer didn't complete so it has been relisted, or the 'buyer' was the seller's mate and it didn't reach the not stated reserve - worth a look though - or if you can't get to see it ask billy739 to take a look see

I phoned the seller just after it was posted
It had a couple of advisories on the MOT (wheel bearing and bushes showing signs of wear - or along those lines)

I asked about how clean the seams etc are and he assured me there is no rust - however he did mention there had been a small weld/repair (which you can just make out in front of the rear wheel in the one photo). He said he hadnt done anything to it and that the paint work would buff up lovely.
He hasn't had the vehicle long, he bought it at a what he thought was a good price to just sell on and make a profit.

It took a little prising to find out what his BIN price is.

He had been offered £5k I had in mind to offer 4.5 to 5 - he was expecting offers in excess of 7k so thats where I left it. I did watch on ebay and it didnt look like it was going to make 7 so i think he may have pulled it.

He struck me as being an honest seller who wouldnt try to cover anything up but it was way to rich for me - I happened to find one a couple of days later at a price that does make this a 4.5 k van

Just to note. Not every Feuerwehr Vehicle was a service vehicle from brand new so may not have had a 100% sheltered life. Some areas bought second hand vehicles and sprayed them red and then entered them into service. Look at the pictures again, the T3 in question was white originally.

it sold for 4,500 pounds on ebay last week. So that seems to tie up with expectations.
