Hi all
I'm having a few issues my diesel exhaust mounts snapped
No probs I thourt got them ordered and delivered

Got under the van cold and wet swaped the one manifold end easy
The other one has a more serious problem
Two of the bolts that hold the bracket to the sump have shered off
In the sump !!!!

I'm not able to weld as they are in to far
So I'm thinking of drilling and using stud extractors
As any one else had this problem
If so how did you over come the problem

I had exactly the same and only the one mounting point left (one hole was 1/2 missing) - the one that takes the nut and bolt. What I did was weld two long bolts to the oil filler tube boss and used them. You will need to drill a couple of new holes. Been like that for years now - it was either that or new sump.

Thanks for that I did consider welding it to the sump

The sump is alloy - unless you are good with welding alloy I would stick with welding it to steel if I were you.
It will make you do that oil change though as it would be difficult to do in situ!

New ones fitted
How ever the exhaust now nocks on the bottom
Of the rear valance
