Hi All, Has anybody on here used flashband as a sound deadening measure? If so do I need to cover the panel in the stuff or just cover an area in the middle of the panel?

I did, it's all about mass when it come to dampening panels, as my OCD requires me to go waaaaaaaaay beyond what's required I put it just about every where.
the easiest test is to tap the panel before an then after to see if the change in tone is enough or you need to add more.
I put mine down with a hot air gun and a j roller.

I put some in my panel van on each panel. Not so much for sound deadening but to remove the panel rattle I was getting. Think I used 2 rolls of 10cm flashband from Wickes. Every panel had strips on it probably at 10-15cm gap and the difference was noticeable.
