Just had My van off the road for ten weeks for a cosmetic restoration, ( looks bloody gawgeous by the way) I've driven it now for 20 miles and it's blowing out engine oil out of the dipstick assembly! The engine is a xj td 1.6 it was rebuilt last year and runs well! I thought I may have a valve letting by, but engine sounds sweet( new head valves etc was fitted at the rebuild. The dip stick seems loose in the extendable filler assembly! Odd it never leaked before. Please help! I want to show my van off but can't bloody annoying !

Found the problem, first checked breather tube all good! Found the dipstick "o" ring worn! So I nipped to halfords to get a new one, of course I had to buy a million of em because they don't sell them singularly
