2 T25s and a T4 Leisuredrive under our belt, the kids are now grown up and we can go back to motor caravanning!
We have just bought a 1986 1.6D in reasonable shape 78k certified on the clock but with a naff interior (might have been Reimo once) and a Dulux paint job! The kids have named him 'The Shed'
Can anyone recommend a first class paint shop to bring him back to his former glory. I am thinking of a solid job which will last around 5 years involving interior and windows out (which I will do)
Found the forum very interesting. Obviously several weidos like me out there!

hello and welcome to the forum.

Have you a limit to your costs?

Many thanks to all. Surprisingly enough I actually like the 1600D for its reliability - and I am not likely to want to go fast anyway! One of my previous T25s was a Marsala Red 1600D but fitted with a gearbox from a petrol model. This made almost weekly trips between Yorkshire and London over a period of several months and comfortably cruised at 70+

Nice picture of your bus kevtherev - but in your enthusiasm you didn't say who did the work! Can I have contact details please?

And the interior will be replaced, probably from a German Westy. The furniture is quite cheap in Germany and I am always looking for an excuse to go over the water! And The Shed was cheap!
