The brickwerks replacements do not need the tank to be removed

I did it all without removing tank or rad. Not too badva job. Just be prepared. If I did it again I would replace the old radbrubber hoses with silicon items from brickwerks. Make sure jubilee clips tight as lots of pressure in the system . Good luck.

While doing this I'd also replace the heater hoses as well .... daft not to really as you have easy access to them

Actually while the van is on stilts, there's quite a list of stuff to be getting on with... if your're that way inclined

Its not hard or that time consuming. Worse thing possible is knackered jubilee clips ....or discovering a rust topped fuel tank [WINKING FACE]

This may be a silly comment but why not replace the metal pipes with rubber hose from industrial hose supplier?
And get SS hose clips from same source. In a previous life we also used to grease hose clips before fitting, easier to remove or tighten in x years time!
For joiners use a short piece of old pipe or plastic/nylon connectors available in good sizes and size changes.
Its a run with no sharp bends and they wont rust!

I've just done this and I can't believe it's a straightforward job with the tank in place. I removed my tank (which is a doddle) so why give yourself a hard time?
