Just about to order some Mega Stretch Lining Carpet from Mega Van Mats to tidy up the van a bit.

Can anyone who's fitted some of this stuff tell me whether the High Temperature Spray Adhesive / Glue (http://www.megavanmats.com/apps/webstor ... ow/2395032" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) is all you need to fix the carpet in place? And, if so, how many cans do you need by 1m x 2m of carpet?

Looking at their offers - they do a 10m of carpet with 10 cans adhesive kit for forum members so I infer from that they reckon on a can per metre.

Yep - I bought a kit from them with 5m of carpet and 5 cans. That's worked out just right.

Have to agree bl++dy sticky you really only get one go at fitting once the cloth is sprayed on both surfaces.
But easy to use once you get the knack,get yourself a good pair of long scissors and
buy plenty of new craft blades,and i used a scalpel for doing the awkward bits.But the finish you get if your carful is impressive.Heres the sliding door pillar on my syncro,covered in smoke lining and the finished side panels.I got the 10mt deal enough for all inside = some left over but not enough for the roof panels so will need to order another 3 mts.

Thanks, I mainly only want to use it to stick the original cab carpet back on around the seat boxes. And maybe the odd bit of factory trim. Thankfully nothing to cut and trim ect, that's not my forte!

Used the glue to sick the engine cover seal back in the groove,and some other trim on our Komet. Sticks and holds where other glue would not.

Good stuff, comes out like silly string lol
Ps don't get it on your paintwork it won't come off!
