Hi, all work done at home , did have a bit of help on the welding and engine rebuild, but everything else done by me
Yea volksworld said they were interested in featuring the van then put it in the readers rides section, I guess you can't win them all
Tried to keep 'Woody' pretty retro, in his original colours
Cheers

Yeah, thought i recognised it! A job well done, would love to have the skills to be able to do that kind of quality work to my van.

Wow nice work!
I'm trying to restore my van myself, not sure it'll be that standard though. Do you mind if I ask... what wheels are they? And where did you get them? They are just the kind of style I am after...

Hi mate
The wheels are 17 inch Mercedes slk alloys, I bought them second hand but still boxed, they were machined out before I bought them, the stud pattern is the same, no adapters or spacers required.
I did have to buy longer studs for the back,( a very easy job to change them ), and longer bolts for the front
Good luck with your resto
Dave
