Asking price?

Good evening, am hoping this post is in the right place. I'm looking to sell my parents 25... 1983. 1.9 air cooled camper. Outwardly she's not a pretty sight, really needs a new paint job. She was mot'd last year ( ran out Oct just gone) at a cost of about £1000. Lots of welding was required!. Currently has a problem with the fuel pump and is a bit selective as to when she'll start. But was running fine once started. Bit of an oil leak which I'm told us pretty common for old girls line her

Interior clean and tidy, rock n roll bed, fridge, cooker etc all In Perfect working order. What I'm asking In a roundabout way, is what sort of money should I be asking for her?
Would be grateful for your input.
Many thanks
Susy

Oh lord! That would involve doing technical stuff

the short reply is no... Not yet but can of course take some! She's not a pretty sight! No rotting panels. She's obviously been hand painted with a brush in a previous life. Anyway, I'll post some pics in the next day or so. Thank you

Its very hard to say without seeing it in the flesh. It also will depend on whether the welding done by the MOT station was just to get it an MOT or a genuine proper repair. I historically spent around 500 quid on welding and to be frank it was a bodge, I've had to respend to get it done properly.

Ok, thanks for your reply, I've tried uploading some photos but it says the file is too big... Techno-bimbo moment! I can't comment re the welding as wouldn't know if it was good or bad... I just know it went back through the mot! Can somebody tell me how to post a pic that isn't too big??
