Hub caps

I see there's another thread about hub-caps, but didn't want to hijack. You see, I'm not really interested in getting the chrome/stainless steel ones, but instead am searching for the ones that would have been on the van originally in 1989. There the kind that were on lots of VWs at the time (including Golfs, Passats etc.) and are plastic with 'Volkswagen' written on a radius. Anyone know where I can get them? (Have searched ebay/other forums to no avail.)
Thanks,
Tim

Sorry - have applied for membership... The van is a 1989 Auto-Sleeper 'Trident' Hi-Top. It's just been fully restored and apart from the hub-caps (of which there are only two, non-VW ones) she looks brand new.

That's the type I mean. Any ideas?
I see you're in West Kent: all OK this Christmas? (We're in Sussex, but have got off pretty lightly...)

The original Part number is 255 601 149A I believe they are still available from VW dealers at £30 a pop. Or type that number into google there are some S/H ones floating about.
We had a few trees and signs down in the lane, power was off for an evening and a bit of the next day but not too bad considering.

Yes, have found the eBay ones. Drat. The originals are proving hard to find - Classic VW Parts in Germany only have them in metallic star blu and so far no luck with dealerships. Will persevere...
