Split charger ???????

Hi all
I'm having problems with my charging set up
Has any one got a wiring diagram
My set up has a terminal with a wire from the back of van
A 30amp relay
And lots of other wires but non seem to be putting
Power to the battery

Looking at the rest of the wiring some one has

My mistake
1989 it had been a long day yesterday
I would have thought that the set up for petrol would be the same as a diesel
I will try and post some pics up today

there's a simple wiring diagram in the wiki...follow the advice in there.
Split relays are very cheap..available from any motor factors and electronics outlet.
If you look at the diagrams in the wiki I'm sure you get the hang of it

Cool guys got it sorted
I just rewired the relay as what was already there was completely wrong
It all seems to be working as it should
The only thing iv noticed is the relay gets quite warm

They will get warm as they are non-latching relays so the coil has to have constant current to make the contacts stay closed.

You could get a bigger relay, that 30 amper is a tad weedy, let's say 70 amp. it'll still get a bit warm though
