Thinking of replacing/renovating what i think is the original interior on my 78 T25 Sheldon high top,any suggestions ideas on the best ways of going about this??im no carpenter so slightly limited in my ability to rip it out and start again.Cupboards,sink ,fridge area etc.

There are three options. 1. DIY. 2.Hire a carpenter/cabinet maker and electrician. 3. Give it to a conversion company.
Reimo still do cash and carry conversion units I think. You still find them the odd time new on eBay.de.

Leisuredrive will sell units too (or at least they used to). I don't think they let you DIY the high top though, but I may be wrong on that one.

Actually considering going down this route myself

We bought and installed that kit about 10 years ago (and it was more expensive then).

The plywood is made from spruce and is therefore very soft and easy to mark, on the plus side it is very light.

The installation instructions are nonexistent, my recommendation is to start with the box over the motor hatch and work forward.

Overall it's a good kit for the money. I would fork out for the foam and covers (Bezug).

We still have some of it fitted (the main wardrobe) the rest is in my barn (20 euro to anyone that wants it).

Did you apply any varnish to it? I wonder would that help? I have tracked down 4 Reimo agents here in Ireland so just have to wait until they re open after Christmas.

No I just painted it with acrylic paint.
If I were to do it again I would coat every thing with a couple of coats of epoxy resin and then some paint or varnish ( bare epoxy breaks down in UV).

That would harden the plywood.
